This strip is almost a year old was my first strip for my pictorial problems class with Peter Kuper and Jessica Abel. It’s based on this nifty song (i feel like nifty is the right word in this context).
an unrelated comment: when trying to get over an art slump, I recommend deleting any distracting apps from your iPhone (including, for me, the tumblr and the fb app). IT HELPS (or at least, it’s worth trying).

A detail from the beginning of a watercolor painting… Trying to think of a non-cheesy background solution!

Recent sketchbook page! I’m in Kansas City and it’s bedtime. Goodnight!

An old drawing of mine that I like… I’m off to Kansas City tomorrow. EXCITING!

Some sketches from TCAF!

My phone shattered before going to TCAF, which put a dampener on my plan to go make new mini-comics. But I had a fun time traveling with Andy (my lovely boyfriend) and walking around the city.

I sketched a little at the opening talk of TCAF with Gabriel Ba, Fabio Moon and Jeff Smith. So much talent on one stage!

Thanks to everyone who made Toronto fun! It was great tabling with/for Matt Madden with Molly Ostertag and Peter Schmidt

But for now I’m happy to rest a little after this long grueling school year.

We made it to Canada! (hence red pencil!) Having Canadian Starbucks (saving Tim Hortons for later).

I’m on my way to TCAF with… Nothing. I had many accidents today and didn’t get to put all the things I wanted together. BUT. I have some leftovers from previous cons and the girls at the Coffee Spoons table will be selling our latest anthology. All is not lost. And my fire is rekindled for my old Tel Aviv project, so, since I won’t have it for TCAF, I’ll be putting stuff online throughout the summer.

Here are the last four pages of my thesis.

… And that’s the coffee spoons back cover, with a list of all the amazing contributors! Again, silkscreened by yours truly! I only harp on that point because unfortunately I’m not credited for it in the issue (yet!). More news soon. Xo.
